Ian Hoen

Youth Pastor

Ian grew up in Toledo. He attended Toledo Christian Schools through graduation. He works alongside his family at their family business (Hoen’s Garden Center). He and his wife Brooke have been married since 2016. He is proud to be the father of a healthy baby boy who was born in December of 2021. He loves being outdoors and is working on the Bucket List of visiting every National Park. Ian serves in various areas at Trinity including the audio/visual team as well as being on the board as the NYI President for several years. He desires to see God work through the lives of teenagers in Toledo. 

Danny Taylor

Senior Pastor

Danny is a native of Toledo and has served in various pastoral roles in Ohio and Illinois. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He is a musician with a taste for classic rock, a devoted Detroit sports fan, and an avid distance runner good for at least one half-marathon a year. He and his wife, Evangeline, have four children, and consider it the highest honor to be called by the Lord to join in the work of seeing God’s Kingdom come and His will being done in Toledo as it is in Heaven.

Brooke Hoen

Children's Pastor

Brooke grew up in a small town northeast of Columbus, Ohio, prior to moving to Toledo with her family in 2012. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Children’s Ministry from Indiana Wesleyan University and works at a Mental Health & Substance Abuse non-profit organization. Brooke met her husband Ian when she moved to Toledo and they have been married since 2016. They had their first child in December of 2021. Her hobbies include baking and visiting National Parks. Her greatest desire is to be a mom. Brooke has been serving in the Children’s Ministry department at Trinity for five years. She has a passion for children and that they would come to know to know Jesus.
